Bleach: Seal Carrier--PrologueThis story takes place before the Soul Society you know was made. This story takes place in the last century of true chaos. A corrupt time ruled by unaware nobles, built on the backs of the dead. No soul within the common place of Rukongai are allowed to join the ranks of shinigami, only those born in one of the four Great Houses, or any of the lower noble houses. But there were those who wished to change that. One man in particular has fought for the creation of a Shinigami Academy, to teach all who show the potential, noble or commoner, how to control their powers. It has not been an easy fight. In this world, similar in size, geography, and history, there live two races. The humans live mostly in North and South America (aside from the Rain Forests), and Western and Eastern Europe. The other race, here by to be known as hybrids, are people who, through a tiny difference evolutionarily, have some physical and personality traits of certain animals, but are still separate from the animals of the world. So an hour or so ago I finished a day full of dusting/cleaning/fixing things in the garage, resulting in me getting covered in dust and filth and the like. But, before I can go and have a shower, I have something to do upstairs. So trying not to drag said dust up the carpeted stairs, I step outside to wipe my feet on the door mat. I then notice it was raining and, seeing that it was raining, I put my hands out hoping to get some what on them so semi wash them a little... But nothing happens for a few seconds. I then lean forward little to try and get my hands out enough to get them wet and then...

Splat

A large drop hit me in the middle of my forehead, and it hit me hard. It didn't feel like a drop of water dropping from the sky, it was a drop of rain that felt actively THROWN at me.

And thus the lord looked down upon me, and spat.
